ista has kicked off a six-year sustainability partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach, one of Germany’s top football clubs, bringing smart metering and energy monitoring to the entire Borussia-Park complex. Spanning over 40 football fields, including the stadium, hotel, restaurants, offices, retail and training facilities, the project makes energy use transparent, identifies savings and reduces CO₂ emissions. The collaboration demonstrates how data-driven solutions can power real climate impact, proving that large-scale buildings (stadiums included) can go smart, efficient and greener, one meter at a time.

ista is refreshing its brand identity, embracing a “bold, simple and smart” approach designed to inspire across 20 international markets. Key brand codes have been streamlined into a sleeker, more digital-friendly aesthetic, featuring a custom font, a refined colour palette and intuitive infographics to modernise the look and enhance usability. The brand evolution reflects ista’s history from a heating meter reader and billing company into a global energy service provider focused on climate protection in buildings.

The new tagline, “Switch to smart”, embodies ista’s agile, data-driven mindset and underscores its commitment to building a smarter, more sustainable future for all.

Mr Victor TK Li, Chairman of CK Group, was bestowed the honour of Grand Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy by the President of the Italian Republic, H.E. Sergio Mattarella for his outstanding contributions to the Italian economy, and for his achievements in promoting friendly relations as well as in fostering business ties between Italy and Hong Kong.

Mr Li Ka-shing, Senior Advisor of CK Group had been honoured with the Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2005.
